We offer a completely deployable and field ready remote control mesh network system that training units can carry with them and use to control battlefield effects tailored for diverse training scenarios, such as urban operations, field training, or drone impact simulation.
The toolkit includes:
This streamlined solution puts the power of a rugged, reliable and expandable mesh network into your hands, allowing you to focus on the training, and not be limited by the technology.
Our system transforms traditional battlefield effect simulators into "smart devices." These battery-powered units seamlessly connect to the mesh network, providing real-time individual status updates—including device identification, condition, and detonation readiness. This integration of intelligent battlefield effects dramatically enhances automation and efficiency, empowering your training with precise control and dynamic feedback while saving valuable time and resources.
Our remote control system streamlines training: no specialized expertise, complex apps, or dedicated computers needed. Featuring an intuitive interface and battery power, it's easy, secure, and ready for no-hassle deployment in any location, dramatically reducing setup time.
We offer a truly modular and versatile solution, seamlessly integrating with diverse battlefield effect simulators and training aids—from lights and beepers to fog machines and moulage effects. This inherent adaptability makes it an invaluable tool within any live training ecosystem. Its scalable platform means you can add new devices and capabilities in real-time, precisely when needed, ensuring your training system evolves with your requirements.
The OMNINET MESH NETWORK was originally developed in 2015 to test and validate emerging concepts and integrate technologies at the U.S. Army's Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment (AEWE). Success at small unit level in support of Multi-Domain Operations lead to the commercialization of the OMNINET MESH NETWORK in 2019, resulting in an advanced Command and Control System for Battlefield Effects.
The OMNINET MESH NETWORK has been field-tested and proven across a range of real-world training environments—from dense, complex terrain to urban environments with buildings and interference. The system is produced and supported by MSFX USA under an exclusive licensing and manufacturing agreement, and been delivered through direct government procurement, foreign military sales, and integration into third-party training systems used in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Our system advances C-IED training by enabling use of "sophisticated" triggers within live training scenarios. Our platform enables trainers to move beyond low-tech improvised triggers to simulate emerging threats: I.E.D.s triggered by modified IoT and Wi-Fi devices. Our advanced mesh network enables realistic training with new trigger types, preparing personnel for sophisticated improvised threats. Enhance readiness against the evolving C-IED landscape.
Revolutionize unit-level React to Contact training by seamlessly integrating MIL-SIM-FX non-pyrotechnic battlefield effects for incoming artillery or mortar impacts for both vehicles and personnel. Our remote control system delivers scalable and reliable functionality in both LOS and non-LOS environments, enabling a single Observer Controller Trainer (O/C/T) the capability to execute complex scenarios.
Using the VELOCITY FX add-on, trainers have the capability to achieve advanced automation and synchronization with high-speed assets, like vehicles, without the costly infrastructure and extensive personnel typically required Advanced training is now accessible and efficient for any unit.
Directly address the critical training gap at unit-level for preparedness against emerging drone swarm attacks. Seamlessly control MIL-SIM-FX non-pyrotechnic battlefield effects to reliably simulate incoming drone attacks or payload impacts against vehicles, personnel or infrastructure. In addition, the VELOCITY FX add-on enables advanced synchronization and automation with high-speed assets like commercial drones, providing dynamic and immersive scenarios without costly infrastructure and extensive personnel. Build psychological resilience by training soldiers to operate under realistic combat-stress at home station using their own equipment.

The OMNINET MESH NETWORK fundamentally redefines remote control for training systems, setting it apart from competitors relying on a single tablet for device control. Unlike point-to-point solutions that limit range and coverage, our true mesh network architecture offers unparalleled scalability, easily expanding both in distance and device count. This means robust control across vast or complex training environments where others fall short. Furthermore, OMNINET is an embedded system; there are no cumbersome firmware updates or app downloads required. It operates as its own invisible, private, and secure network, completely disconnected from the internet, ensuring unparalleled security and reliability without user hassle. This seamless, expansive, and secure operation delivers a superior training experience.
The OMNINET Mesh Network System is engineered for versatile battlefield effect control beyond MIL-SIM-FX brand simulators. Its robust, proprietary mesh architecture allows for seamless integration with a broad spectrum of external training devices. Provided an external effect can accept a simple, standardized trigger input (e.g., a momentary contact closure or specific digital pulse), OMNINET can command it. This open-ended compatibility means users aren't locked into a single ecosystem; they can leverage existing assets or incorporate specialized effects from various manufacturers. The system's inherent flexibility transforms it into a universal remote control hub, significantly enhancing the complexity and realism of any training scenario by unifying diverse battlefield effects under one simple, practical and deployable solution
