MIL-SIM-FX: HOW IT WORKS

MIL-SIM-FX takes battlefield effects and transforms them into a new level of interactive, high-fidelity training. We leverage a proprietary compressed air system to create a non-pyrotechnic shockwave that delivers realistic, tactile feedback, far surpassing the limited capabilities of traditional flashes and beeps. The result is a safe, reusable solution that enhances learning and improves mission preparedness.

How Our Technology Works

1. Compressed Air Power

Our simulators are powered by compressed air, using either disposable 12G CO2 cartridges for smaller effects or refillable air cylinders for larger impacts. This core technology allows for safe, repeatable detonations without the need for explosive materials.


2. Consumables

To replicate a full-sensory battlefield experience, our devices use two key consumables:


  • FX Powder: Creates realistic visual effects with a non-toxic, environmentally safe powder available in multiple colors.
  • Burst Disks: Generates a loud, concussive report. By using different burst disks, you can configure the sound and haptic feedback from 120 dB to 180 dB.


For even greater realism, optional accessories can be added, such as marking rounds (paintballs) for projectile effects or liquid fake blood for moulage (simulated gunshot wounds).


3. Professional-Grade Simulators

Our simulators are purpose-built, professional-grade training tools. While others rely on cheap plastics, 3-D printers and off-the-shelf components, our devices are precision-engineered from custom-machined aluminum to withstand the most demanding training conditions. Our design philosophy is to create a complete, integrated solution. We don't just hot glue off-the-shelf parts into a rugged case.
